I am glad that the Fijian islanders are gaining back rights. It is not fair for a government to suppress the people and deny them of opportunities and freedoms that all humans deserve. It is sad to hear that the Fijian military took control over the government and did not allow the Fijians to express their opinions without persecution. Luckily, there are Foreign Affairs men such as Phil Goff who are committed to helping small countries like Fiji have a say in their republic.
